I purchased a Guess watch as a birthday gift, through CitySlicker in September. The watch was eventually received after a lengthy wait and I was dismayed to discover that the product received was completely different to the one I had apparently purchased (as pictured in the advert).
I contacted CitySlicker with pictures of the item received and the one advertised. The retail price of the watch received was also less than the one I was supposedly purchasing. CitySlicker offered to collect the watch and refund the purchase but given the close proximity to the birthday date, a refund for the difference was requested instead. This was finally processed some 2 weeks later. CitySlicker also confirmed that they had erroneously advertised the wrong item.
To make matters worse, now the watch has stopped working after less than a week of use. I have been in touch with CitySlicker to arrange a replacement but no action has been forthcoming.
Given CitySlickers' dishonesty and poor service to date, I want to return the item and get a refund in full. I am also sending a copy of this message to Guess EMEA to ask if they are satisfied with their brand being portrayed in such a bad light.
