I've never had a problem with buying things online especially off of Bid or Buy, but it takes one single seller to advertise a item completely inaccurately and then you just instantly develop a negative attitude towards online purchasing all together!
The one problem with online purchasing is sellers selling items that aren't what they advertised! And when sellers such as Win a Lot make it so unpleasant you're reminded why it is so much better, 100% quicker and more pleasant rather going into the shops and purchasing the item! Benefit to this is not having to wait nearly two weeks for an item that is "instock" and also not being allowed to pickup the item unless you spend R500 or more so you're forced to pay for a postage fee which delays the process even more! Then still having to drive to the post office to collect it! You may as well purchase the item instore!
I purchased an item for my fianc? and before purchasing I confirmed with Win a Lot that the item was in stock, which gives you the impression you would have it in a few days. So besides having my fianc? wait patiently for this gift it's the completely wrong item! It just spoiled everything!
