My 1 year old baby had SUPERFICIAL burn wounds and was taken to GARDEN CITY CLINIC into the PICU Unit.the attending Dr was Dr Sebele (who specialises in doing circumcisions) he assured me my baby would be fine and in 2 weeks time he would be out of hospital.the Dr told me to go home cos he was goin to sedate my son and that my son would sleep through the nite.at 10:30pm the Dr went home.i was still at the hospital hoping to see my son.at 11:30pm my son went into his 1st cardiac arrest and the staff never informed me.i was told everything was fine and i should go home, i left and at 01:48am the 9th of June the nurse calls me and tells me to go to the hosipital, upon arrival he was already dead.the hospital records said cause of death was 1:50am then it was later changed to 1am.post mortem results never correlated with the Dr's findings.i contacted Barry Bedford (CEO OF NETCARE) and he told me he would meet with me and that i should send an email stating i want"compensation"i did as requested then he cancelled the meeting saying his not responsible and that was it.til now its been 1year and 11 months, and still nothing has been done about it, evan the SAPS just lost interest. I NEED JUSTICE
