Lancet Laboratories incompetence

I was called by Lancet in January 2013 and they said i had an outstanding bill of R267. I advised them that my medical aid had paid all fees and would not pay that one as my baby is NOT on MY medical aid but on my husbands. I then told the lady to please re-lodge the claim and gave her my husbands contact number AND HIS MEDICAL AID number in order to do so. She agreed. Much to my utter disgust, this was NEVER DONE. All the incompetent staff member done was change the contact number from mine to my husbands who later received threatening sms's saying that he would be listed. Low and behold when i called ITC on 21/04/2013 i was told it was for my account, I have paid them the R271 today. I will not be held accountable for the incompetence of Lancets staff and need to know that this mess up caused by them has not affected my credit profile in any way.
