I am very disgusted by the poor service I've been receiving from GEMS regarding the claim for my daughter's dental treatment which occurred on the 18/02/2013.
The incompetent staff that I've been dealing with make me wonder if GEMS puts in the effort of employing employees with the right skills. Some staff members are even rude.
The GEMS dentistry claims department have been giving me and the service providers a run around for 3 months now, whereas they are the ones with the problem.
Lame excuses like the member number was recorded incorrectly in the invoice are being used to cover them for not doing their job.
Actually to merely complain through this email isn't good enough at this stage, I would like to be advised what further action I should take to report GEMS on its disgraceful service.
I have never had my patience tested in this manner where I phone more than 5 times a week just to follow up on the progress made, only to find none has been made.
I'm utterly ashamed of this medical aid and I'm pretty sure many more clients get this bad service that I have received.
