I have been a member of Liberty Medical Scheme since 2005/6. I have been loyal for 7 years to the scheme this year January the company I worked for closed down. I paid Liberty out of saving that I had. I only missed a payment in March they send me a sms that my account was suspended wich I understand and that there will be no cover for March 2013. I phoned there call centre today 2 April 2013 said to them I have a job again and would pay them for the month of April the R 4200.00 that my monthly billing is. She responded that I must pay for march and april and that it will be R 8400.00 before they activate it again. I asked if we could make a arrangement that I pay the 4200 outstanding off she said yes but no cover until the full amount is paid and they will keep billing. So they want me to pay for services not provided no 1 and then where is the loyalty in difficult times for 8 years I have been loyal for one month they tell you to go.

There was no payment and no-cover so that seems to fine. They want payment for a month that they did not cover unfair.
