"voucher" for Chief's Boma

I attended a conference at the Indaba Hotel in February. I was one of the recipients of a lucky draw gift voucher for a meal for two at the Chief's Boma. I unfortunately dropped my access card for work while I was there...
This Sunday (17 March) I went to both collect my access card and redeem my voucher.
Reception had no record of my access card (contrary to what Security had advised me the day after the conference, when they said they would leave it at reception for collection).
The staff and manager, Marius, told me that my voucher had been reported by the conference organiser and had therefore been cancelled. My partner and I were treated like criminals and escorted from the restaurant.
Still no feedback from the conference organiser nor the hotel.
And my access card is still nowhere to be found (having been confirmed in their possession the day after the conference).
