My husband went in for knee surgery and was given crutches and a brace in hospital. We have been billed for the crutches and the brace because our savings have been depleted. What I dont understand is why must this come from our savings or why must we be billed for this if it was in hospital??? Discovery can not explain this to us when we call the call centre and they say we must fill in a form and MAYBE they will pay out??? If there is any slight chance that Discovey is going to cover the crutches and the brace why no do it right away.
