Paying for a service that they don't offe

I had an issue with Discovery and was forced to leave them in order to provide health care for my family. So, off I go to join Momentum... all looks good until they finally tell me that there's a three month waiting period during which I will be paying my full contribution, but I am not covered for ANYTHING.

They came up with some poppycock about the fact that there is some chronic medication involved, and that's the reason why there's a waiting period...

Firstly, the total value of the chronic medication is less than R250 per month, and I'd be happy to pay that if Momentum are so pathetically worried about the R750 they stand to lose.

Secondly, I will be paying over R4000 per month, and if my daughter gets sick between now and June, Momentum won't pay a cent towards a decent doctor

Thirdly, I left Discovery IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SECURITY for my family, but now they are even more vulnerable for three months.

This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH! It's also not at all a good way to start a relationship with a new customer. My first payment hasn't even gone through, and I'm already starting to wonder if the move to Momentum was a wise idea.
