Helen Joseph is one of the worst hospitals I have been to in my life! Due to the fact my mother is a pensioner and no medical, I was forced once again to send her there in hope for some caring treatment. She went in with breathing problems and lots of pain. Within 5 days she has become a person I don't know at all... frail and fragile. Cannot get any answers as to what she is being treated for... my opinion, just giving her maybe her daily meds. The nursing staff is uncaring and roll their eyes at you when u ask a questions and say ask the doctor!!! They will not even give us a doctor's name and say we must make an appointment! Most of the staff don't wear name badges, so therefore u cannot even get a name of who can be reported. She lies there with dirty nappies, during visiting hours, and once again get a dirty look, when u request them to come clean her. She has not eaten, or had anything to drink for 4 days and yet they do not put up a drip to keep her hydrated and fed!!! My heart is simply broken and sadden to my core to know that this is our health system!!!
