Last year November, I applied for a job in Cape Town with The Guild Collection for a job as a marketing assistant. The person I was supposed to have the interview was Dean Kagan. I flew to Cape Town on my own expense, paid for my own flight and accommodation. To my dismay, 10minutes before my interview, I got a mail from Dean informing me he has just been let go from his job and can't continue with the interview. I requested out of courtesy that someone still interviews me, I got no response, so called the company and dealt with Jeff, the owner of the company. He promised me an interview while I was still in Cape Town, which never happened. I have been trying to get hold of Jeff, contacting his office, leaving messages and even sending him emails, but he hasn't even had the courtesy to replay or call back. I still have not heard back and it is February 2014. All I wanted was the courtesy of an interview, but since that is not happening I would like to be refunded for all the costs I paid to make a trip for the interview.
