On the 15th Jan 2014 i received an sms from Dr AE Burger's offices for an amount of R1440.70, not paid by medical aid and held me liable for the account. I contacted Discovery to resolve the problem and was informed that there had been a problem with claims made and that they would resolve the matter. On the 31st Jan2014 i received another sms from Dr. AE Burger's office to remind me once again of the outstanding amount. After getting into contact with Dr. Burger's office to query the claim, i was informed that Discovery had not settled the claim. I contacted Discovery once again to follow up on the claim not being settled, and was informed that they could not settle the claim until the Dr sent them a different code to settle the account, and was also informed to contact Dr. Burger's office to contact the Discovery's medical claims department to resolve the matter. I then in turn informed Discovery that i do not wish to debate the claim and was going to post the problem on this site. So here it is.
