I made an appointment for a pap smear & a general check up to find out why I was suffering with nausea & headaches. I needed the pap smear to obtain a script, & I had recently returned from Asia where Bird Flu & other unknown viruses could be the cause. The doctor could not be found when the patient before me grew tired of waiting unnecessarily. Eventually Dr Majopelo saw me, hurriedly did the pap smear and sent me off for cholesterol, weight, heart rate & BMI tests in response to my complaint without asking about medical history. She scribbled a website for me to look at to reduce my cholesterol & made about calling the next patient in. I insisted that I needed a more thorough investigation. She became rude & sarcastic, wrote a script for cluster headaches, listened to my heart, tapped me & sent me for blood tests for thyroid, Oestrogen & blood count but didn't want to be the referring doctor for results. After complaining to manager last Wednesday, Intercare have chosen to cover their tracks and the Dr called me yesterday with results, but I am no closer to resolution. They offered for me to come back in, but I don't trust a practice where the doctors are not accountable.
