We arrive - no reception, the owner is missing, for hours. We booked & paid for (price on website) a superior sea view room months prior, instead we got a back room with no ventilation & was still charged the superior room price. (Both rates are completely overpriced for this type of accommodation in this location in any case). There's no on-suite bathrooms (you share a shower/ toilet with 6 others). There's no aircon (crazy in this hot & humid place). No TV in the room, NO WIFI, NO minibar/ refreshments available for purchase, 24 hour dogs barking. This is a disco hostel & should be priced & advertised as such. Guests were smoking in house everywhere. Owner played drinking games & snooker with other guests in "common area" 2 metres away from our room - music at full blast till midnight. When we asked her to please keep it down, we were tying to sleep, she said we only paid for 2 nights, the "party animals paid for 2 weeks, we should pack our things & go. Unbelievable!
