During early December, after sending all the necessary docs to Discovery, approval was given to my purchasing a electric wheelchair from a specific supplier. If i sent the docs through within 2 days, Discovery promised to pay back the money within a 2 day period. After a week, when i contacted them because my dad still have not received his payback, suddenly the supplier was not listed as one of their suppliers. Excuses about having to listen to the communication between parties, the emails sent... to confirm that they DID indeed approved of the purchase through the specific supplier. 3 weeks down the line, the CEO still gets his pa (Lauren) to contact me and make excuses, my dad still hasnt got money paid back.
it is a shame that Discovery has the monopoly and when indeed you make a mistake, it could cost you dearly when unforseen accident occurs, but when they owe you money- they can take as long as they wish. Never mind if an elderly man has used his savings to pay for this because Discovery promised payback within two days.
