So yesterday my cousin and I went to Benmore for the Blood drive that was taking place. We filled the form and all and decided to wait for the lady to check if we qualified and all. Even Before screening me. She told me that I do not qualify coz I travelled to a malaria destination in November. First of all how do you know if I have malaria and besides who said that there is no malaria in this country. To make it worse when my cousin got to the bed where she was to Donate Blood the lady tied it so tight and was so rude to her just because she could not make a tight fist. She then said rudely YOU MUST TRY NEXT TIME.By the WAY we are trying to help you. Instead of screaming and saying you need more blood stop saying that coz when people go for your blood drives the people serving your potential Donors are so rude and people who work for SANBS HAVE A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. WORK ON YOUR ATTITUDE. I don't understand why I should be away from my home country for 3 years before I donate blood. I am trying to help you!!!
