Claims done incorrectly

I called call centre and explained that my savings was depleted and she said i can go to my GP as I get 5 free consultations once saving is depleted. My husband and child went to the GP on the 28th of December 2012, however GP only claimed on the 2nd of Jan 2013 (after my new savings kicked in) and they deducted the claim from my savings. I queried with Discovery and they said it is correct as the claim only went through in January. According to me that is incorrect as my CONSULTATION date was in DECEMBER. How can they work off the claim date as i have no control over that? I dont think this is right at all and would like to have it reassessed and reprocessed!
