My husband was admitted in Chatsmed hospital on a Saturday night, had x-rays and various test done but still suffered with severe pains on his right hand side. Night shift sister could not assist him on that sunday night, I had to report to the matron to ensure that they give him something stronger for pain. the doctors treating him advised that he had kidney stones on his left hand side and that he was constipated so the one doctor treated him for constipation. Eventually on the Tuesday, I took a force discharge from that hospital and took him to Westville hospital and received excellent service from them. Dr Gault, excellent doctor from Westville, only just felt his stomach and listened to his symptons and diagnosed the problem. He went into surgery that afternon for a lapascopic appendix and it was removed and he was doing fine, just had to recover from the surgery but he is fully recovered thanks to Westville. Why did the doctors in Chatsmed after all the test not diangose the problem correctly?
