Discovery Authorization outstanding

We have been waiting for authorization for a period of in excess of 30 days for Discovery to approve a procedure.

We emailed everything through to them for the second time on the 13/11/13. The first time they received our application it was not approved as they required more info... this has been sent over two weeks ago. I followed up this morning (18/11/2013) and was advised that we didn't send through the Doctors letters they only received the medication list.

I checked up on that only to find that, with another call back to Discovery, it WAS sent and RECEIVED, only they didn't bother to open it up.

I have been advised that it will now take another 2-3 days, if they had opened the attachment before, we would have an answer by now.

We had to postpone the operation after it was scheduled for Wednesday 20/11/2013.

This is not acceptable as my dad is in constant pain.
