I ordered a bespoke birthday cake for my Mom's 72nd & niece's 1st birthday breakfast party in Pretoria one week in advance from Sue. I paid for the cake in full when I ordered it & was due to collect it on Saturday 9/11/2013 at 08:30 am. On the Saturday in question I got to Belle's Patisserie around 07:50 to collect the cake; Lenetty called whomever was supposed to have baked the cake cos the cake wasn't at the shop & was told that "they're on top of it". Lenetty relayed to me to wait about 45 minutes for the cake to be delivered. So I waited. An hour later the cake was still nowhere in sight. Lenetty got on the phone again. At this stage I asked where this cake was being dispatched from as I was even willing to go get it myself; & then only the truth came out that my bespoke order had NOT BEEN BAKED! A child's first birthday party without cake! Such deliberate & disgusting disrespect to a paying client, made to wait an hour for ABSOLUTE NOTHING is unforgivable unprofessional service. I am beyond disappointed & disgusted. Your baker was pathetic & unapologetic when I spoke to her on the phone. Sis man, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Word of mouth goes a long way, remember this!
