Lack of professionalism, No bed side manne

My two year old nephew was rushed in to hospital with apparent pain, screaming and frantic.
This particular doctor who finally tended to him made an unnecessary comment that left my sister, who was holding her son, feel completely hurt, unwelcome and confused as she did not expect it from a professional.
What he sarcastically said, instead of politely informing her of the reality of the situation, was: "We cannot tend to every cough in the Western Cape, you know? "

This was totally uncalled for as the little boy was suffering from a bad ear infection, as was later discovered!

My sister was so distraught, she never got his name but observed that others referred to him as "Ben".
