Reservations manager with an awful attitude

In requiring accommodation in Bloemfontein, my boyfriend and I decided to try stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. On calling on 31 October I enquired re availability and there was only one room occupied. I then asked if I could reserve two rooms for a weekend later in November.
The gent on the line said to please send an email as the person to take my reservation was not there.
I sent a mail on the same day.
On 1 November (today) I called back to check on the query. The person who answered had an attitude from the start saying that he had not had time to check the mails because he only got to work now (13h00). He also siad that he would have to check availability as it could have changed overnight.
I got really angry. How is it that someone is so unwilling to do their job???
And then he put the phone down on me? I called back, asking to speak to someone else, and I was told there was no one else. I was livid.
He then put the phone down on me again.
Poor. For someone in the service industry. There was no need to be all self-righteous. Just do your job!
