Thursday evening, 24 October: we popped in for a cappuccino and had a sneak peek at what sounded like a mouth watering dinner menu. Your very scrumptuous sounding salmon fishcakes caught our eye! Saturday, 26 October: we called to find out whether the dinner and lunch menu would be available at around 4pm. This was confirmed by your staff. Excitedly, we drove from Lonehill to Parktown North to our favourite little bistro for a light late lunch and dessert. What a waste of time and 26km's petrol. We opted for a quick bite rather than linger longer due to the "poor company" you were entertaining. A table of about 9 noisy and decidedly drunken guests sat: 6 of them eating Nando's take-aways from your dinner plates and pouring Iron Brew into your wine glasses from 500ml take-aways. They had a Moema's wine bucket filled with a bottle of Captain Morgan's rum which they kept dipping into! Since your staff brought the ice bucket, plates and wine glasses, they were obviously aware of the Nando's and rum. This is truly not the type of behaviour we expect at Moema's. We ordered the salmon fishcake starter: no salmon in this dry but oily ball! We took our main course business to Squire's Loft!!!
