Following the response I received from Comair, the only call I got was to confirm if I'd like to cancel the flights!!! Comair is now trying to cover up to say it was an error. I wonder what Discovery Vitality has to say on this issue as I have not yet received a response from them on their so-called 20% disocunt on air travel for bronze Vitality members. Comair still insists that the discount is on a base fare of R130, excluding airport charges and taxes of R827, instead of the total R957 for an air ticket from Durban to Jhb. Compare this to Mango, base fare of R690 and airport charges incl taxes of R250. BA/Kulula have changed the composition of their airticket in order to prevent Vitality members from receiving the full 20% discount of R191 on an airticket costing R957, and instead insists that the discount is only R29 after which they deduct the Vitality charge of R25 so that your net discount is only R4. There is no consistency in the airport charges and base fare between like carriers - I wonder what ACSA and Discovery Vitality have to say here.By the way I'm still waiting for a response from Discovery Vitality as this is their "accredited" travel partner!!!
