The attached Proclamation to Act on Behalf of my Dad: CM VAN DEN HEEVER - ID 3007095002087 refers.
My dad is 83 year old, has work for SAR for approximately 39 years:
The beginning of this year was the first time he as Principal Member, had to make use of his Medical aid. This was also the case in September 2013.
He was consulting with Dr Benson (Eugene Marias). Dr Benson indicate that he would like to admit him to hospital. My dad was informed that the Hospital does not Except Trans med patients. All the service providers needed to take care of him do not accept Trans med.
The result is he had to pay all medical expenses upfront. For a Pensioner it is enormous to pay? R 50 000 plus out of his pocket.
On the 23 01 2013, we request you in a letter, what could we do to ensure that he get the medical treatment on an acceptable level that he deserve after years of contribution? We did not receive any feedback.
This forces us to look at alternatives. We have Identify Bestmed as our preferred option.
