Please allow me to share my appreciation for a better life style after so many years of intense headaches
My uncontrollable chronic headaches started in 1976
After many consultations with doctors and numerous medicines and pain killers there was no relief
I was referred to a Specialist-Neurosurgeon in Cape Town that explained I had a so called cluster or Holstens headache
Migril tablets was prescribed and it brought some relief but with not for long I experienced shorter intervals between attacks - sometimes 3 per day - this related to exceeding the maximum recommended daily and weekly dose of these tablets - but this was the only relief
In 1977 I went back to the same Specialist just to hear that I will have to drink these tablets for the rest of my life regardless the quantity per day.went on for 21 years and I estimate that I have taken more than 30 000 of Migril tablets
Mid 1998 I went to the Headache Clinic and Dr. Shevel did the arteries surgery
For 10 years I experienced another life with NO headaches at all. July 2013 I visited the clinic again and has since headache free life to enjoy
