My 1 year 4 month old neice was seen by Dr Basil Fick and due to her left eye pulling squint and loosing control of her left side. After very little tests he stated that there was nothing wrong with her and the eye would correct itself.
Her mum then took her for a second opinion a few weeks later and the new physician immediatley sent her for a CT scan and a rapidly growing tumor was discovered. a few days later she was admitted to a goverment hospital as she requires constant care. She is now in a coma-like condition after her biopsy performed yesterday Had she been attended to properly from the beginning she wouldnt be in the state she is in.
this is not the first person misdiagnosed by Dr Fick with detremental consequences. He needs to be brought into account for playing with peoples lives.
