Helping a 6 year boy!!

My son had a sever lung infection in both his lungs. Medicine which has been prescribed to him did not help. Our Doctor advised us on Monday evening to admit him to hospital. I then phoned the Pre-authorisation department the Tuesday morning to ask them what I need to do to get my child admitted to hospital. The gentleman then said sorry mam I have bad news for you, you can't admit your son in the hospital you need to wait for two weeks then you can admit him, as you are still in your "waiting period". So I asked him is there no one that I can talk to or maybe pay in an additional premium as you already debited my account for 3 months now. (Months debited: 25/06/2013 & 25/07/2013 & 26/08/2013) Then he said no sorry. I even spoke to a lady named Samantha and a gentleman named Paul but no-one could help my son.

Sara then took it upon herself to escalate this matter and finally got it right to get Affinity Health to pay for 3 days of my son's hospital bill. Yet we had to wait for 3 days for somebody to react to our plea. Sara still continued to go the extra mile and help my son. She is an amazing person, and will be blessed abundantly.

Good work Sara!! You are a star!!
