Altho my mom died, the event was warmly handled

I called ER24 from Durban as my 91-year old dad phoned me in a panic, and they responded with great warmth and empathy, and with unbelievable speed. When they got to my parent's flat, she had already gone into heart failure, and yet they still spent almost an hour trying to resuscitate her. Her body was too weak, and she died in their arms. However, seeing the distress my dad was in, and knowing that all the relatives were overseas and in Durban, they sat with him again for another hour until someone could be with him. They called my brother in Dubai, followed up with me, wrote up a decent report, and even arranged for the funeral parlour. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work, resilience, compassion and caring.
