To whom it may concern
As a client I have never claimed from my medical aid since becoming a member. In the one and only instance that i have claimed recently for the costs of my optometrist bill, the medical aid have been delaying payment for a month now. I have taken the chance of paying the bill myself and have been waiting for them to reimburse me that money, but all they have been doing is promising to make payment but never follow through. this has made me lose faith in them as a client. And i feel that they should pay me the full amount of R1800 instead of the R580 they have said they can only pay. this will make up for the costs i incurred of constantly phoning them and driving around sorting out their mistakes.
