I was not consented and no one has advised me that the medical aid does not cover for all these test and if I am able to pay for it and why it was necessary. I did not give any authority to have all these test done on my own expense, as I explained below, I was under the impression that the medical aid covers all in hospital procedures, like they did before when my son was previously admitted to Akeso. I have told the doctor which drugs my son was on, I have no idea why she had to test for all these unnecessary drugs.
My purpose for sending my son to the clinic was to get counseling and rehabilitation. My son was discharge before the time, because he used again. Now I am getting all these bills to pay and the treatment was not even successful.
