Just as we were enjoying our Women's day picnic, we were highly disappointed to find a snail on one of the salad leaves that had been provided, we immediately made the chef who was responsible that day aware of what we had found. Linda Nzuza explained to us that it was the suppliers duty to ensure that the products they delivered were clean and readey to serve. I then explained to him that the issue had nothing to do with us because as paying patrons, we expect to receive the top quality and service that is known of Kievits Kroon Country Estate & Spa. We requested that we receive compensation for the unfortunate incident, as we were bitterly disappointed, he simply responded by saying that it was not under his due restriction to do so, we then requested to speak to a manager in charge only to find there was a change in shifts and the manager had left already. The new manager suggested we fill in a comments card, which we did but still no response.
The negligence of your kitchen staff has left a bitter taste in my mouth & if action won't be taken I will be left with no choice but to post the pics of our dilemma online.
