I AM COMPLETELY TAKEN ABACK BY THE BAD SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM CARECROSS/TOPMED call centre. I phoned at 13:30 on the 1st of July 2013 to enquire about me being referred by my GP for severe epigastric pain and retrosternal pain to consult with a Gastroenterologist to swallow a camera. My GP treated me but I did not respond to treatment. Topmed and carecross are pointing fingers at one another saying that I am not covered to swallow a camera? I am only covered by the scheme to see a Gynaecologist!! Last time I checked a Gyne can't see all the way up your womb into your intestines!!! What if something is really wrong with my intestines and my medical aid which I have been with for 2 years does not want to help me I have wasted money and my health was put at risk for their personal gain? this is absolutely ridiculous can someone please shed some light on this because I never before received service this bad from a HEALTH PROVIDER!!!
