Who is responsilble for a msg stating Bank Erro

I have a debit order for the 25th of every month currently I am unemployed but I still pay my premiums on 25th May I had funds in the account but it was uncleared so I phoned in after receiving an sms and I request my account to be debited due to the fact I'm aware 1st debit was reversed I got another sms stating my membership is cancelled I phoned in I was told they had put a request thro and standard bank had rejected the request and I had to pay at a bank cash to get my membership back immediately I had contacted the bank and they had assured me there is no such thing as them stopping a debit unless I ask them to do so I phoned discovery and explained I went into standard bank spoke to 3 consultants as to what happpened and according to discovery yourll had stoped the debit they all agree on the same basic if discovery request a debit it will go of as there is funds in the account. I then made a payment via internet banking and I phoned discovery stating I need some proof to show they actually put a request to debit my account and the consultant was so confused how that happened and tried helping me but I still aint satified now I receive sms I still owe money. Pls help
