Dear Sir / Madam
I am a member of Bonitas Medical Aid and wish to make a comment on a employee at Medscheme Office.
My husband must urgently have a hip replacement and as we are pensioners we can not afford the prosthesis.
I battled for more than two months with Bonitas staff to assist me in this matter and after hundreds of e-mails and telephone calls I was referred to Tebogo Mathabathe.
What a heavenly experience it was to be assisted by this lady. She helped me (ALWAYS IN THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLIEST MANNER). with a ex-gratia application which was prepared and admitted within days. As soon as the application was approved she contacted me and gave me the good news. I have no words to express my gratitude to her and I can only pray that her employer will realise that she is one in a million and of GREAT VALUE to any employer.
This experience made me realise that only one out of ever 20 (that is more or less how many staff members I contacted by mail and telephonically) in the new South Africa is prepared to give client service. The majority only attends work to receive a salary that they do not deserve.
