I did an xray at Brenthurst clinic in June 2012 by Matissons and Partners. In April I got a letter saying that i owe Matisson and Partners R300. I called them to query it and I was told that Bankmed incorrectly credited them with R990 insteast of R645, they sent an email to [Email Removed] to reverse R345. Bankmed reverved R645 instead of R345. Matisson resent an email advising them of this error and nothing was done. Matisson resent the claim again this year and it was rejected, apparently its a "stale claim". I dont understand why its "stale" when the error was from Bankmed"s side. I called in today (24/05/2013) at around 3:46pm and spoke to a rude laday called Nkupha Nditha who claims that they received an email saying R645 should be reversed, when I told her where the emails were sent she told me that, the email was incorrect and when i asked why it wasn't routed to the correct department she said it not their fault and when i requested her to send me the email stating that R645 should be reversed, she didnt and cut the call while i was busy speaking to her. I will not pay R300 which my medical aid reversed in error and no 1 wants to take the blame and admit Bankmeds error.
