I have been an excellent client with payments on time each and every month for 15 years! My daughter went to the optometrist only about a week before the benefit date in January as she started having very serious headaches because of her eyes in October 2012 already. I asked her just to hang on until the new year as we cannot afford cash payments... and now this. The call centre agent was SO rude, told me "NO" she WILL NOT put me through to somebody who can assist or her supervisor and hung up on me! Needless to say, people... rather pay a little extra and get proper benefits and people who will LISTEN and ASSIST you when you're in a predicament after being the perfect client for 15 YEARS!!! My search for a new medical aid is on. Paying a HUGE amount on medical aid contributions monthly and hardly ever making use of it vs one tiny little couple days granted from their side or even just an offer to a SOLUTION = PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
