Poor Service & refusal to refund with no stay

On 02/05/2013 i made a reservation booking at the Canelands and was promised 2 standard rooms on my arrival, i had specifically asked for the location of rooms and what was available. Upon checking in we were sent to a standard room on the ground floor of which was directly outside the restaurant and lounge. There was way too much noise and clutter from staff and other guests as this was the ground floor which was next to the entrance. When been checked into the room we were disgusted to find out that there was no wall separating the toilet from the bed, but just a rolled up wooden blind. i was not at ease as i payed alot of money and expected to receive what i was promised. there was no staff available for me to complain. 30 minutes had past and i could not bare the noise so decided to check out as there was no privacy, after waiting upon some staff to make contact eventually they informed me that there will not be any refund and no cancellation policy that they can ad-ere to. I spent R2800 and did not spend 1 night.. i am liable to a refund as i DID NOT use any facilities or rooms. I certainly cannot pay for a hotel which i did not stay at. I WILL TAKE FURTHER ACTION
