I was looking to purchase a canon 5 D mark ii, i came across their advert online advertising the unit for R5500. i asked for a price with the 24-105 lens. he quoted me R7500.00 ex vat. i got the invoice and the first thing i picked up he had only charged 150.00vat on that amount. secondly my boyfriend contacted him as well and received an invoice. we both had the same invoice number and same ref number, the amount on his invoice was 13 500. and again only 150vat.
two different bank accounts as well as two different web sites. when i asked for their tax number it was refused. when i asked if i could collect, i called the number of the address i was given in cape town and it was not the store. their email addresses are gmail and hotmail. i would really not trust them at all. please see below for all their contact details
