My daughter was alone at home when she noticed 3 plugs not working but trip switches did not trip. It was a Sunday and she googled emergency electricians and phoned A24/7 Electrical & Plumbing for assistance. The call out fee was R250. Then they saw she was alone at home and asked for access to upstairs electrical board as well. She could not watch both sides and they stole the Trip switch upstairs leaving all my plugs exposed. (replacement value R2, 000) Then they cut the wires connecting my generator and replaced a wire that was apparently burned out. They charged my daughter R4, 755.00 for this atrocious work. On my return I discovered my generator doesn't link to house I contacted my trusted longtime electrician and then we discovered this work done. I mentioned the fee paid and he was disgusted that they took advantage of my daughter and also stole the upstairs trip switch. One phone call to DJL Jansen van Vuuren and he said he needs to check the invoice and then blocked my phone. No trace of him now. He is a Capitec client.
