Terrible aftermarket service! Rather buy an Iphone

I have an Galaxy S3, bought it when it came out last year. not even a year old. The screen has a crack in it (like every one i know with a Samsung phone). today i tried contacting the Samsung Store in Canal Walk to find out if i was covered by them or if i will need to pay etc.

I was immediately told, OBVIOUSLY, that i was not covered by any type of warranty (little bit of a shock, seeing as i paid THOUSANDS of rands not EVEN a year ago for the device). and was then told i need to call some service center on 021 551 5534.

After trying to call them about 6 times with no answer, i called Samsung store back. told them the situation and said i would just like to know price for repair.

I was abruptly told they dont do that and i must call the center. I explained i had tried more than 6 times with no answer to witch i got back, " Oh yes they only have 1 line, just keep trying and you'll get through EVENTUALLY"

and to that, all i have to say is good riddens, today i make the change to Iphone and will never look back, every one i know with a Samsung has had some sort of issue, service related or device related, FYI I come from having an S1, S2 and the S3, thanks for the loyalty...
