I purchased a Solardom in February this year. I used it sparingly during the course of the year. During a month back, I attempted using the convection oven mode for the first time - however the appliance tripped my electricity each time.
I logged a repair with the retailer who in turn contacted LG for the repair. An LG agent, Teletronics (Standerton) picked up the appliance over a week later. They refused to put it in the box and insisted in transporting it in an open van. NO protection from weather or wear except for a matress??
I was told the repair would take 1 week. I only received it OVER TWO weeks later.
The unit came back in a terrible condition:
-It was SCRATCHED. It had NO scratches before the "repair".
-The "repair" was NOT DONE. Still tripping my electricity in convection mode.
-Electronic panel is now MISALIGNED.
-Solardom does not sit level on the countertop. VIBRATIONS when in use.
-Door is LOOSE. Micro switches off at times during operation
The product is under a year old. I do not expect this of a top of the range appliance.
This is the first time I bought a LG product, and will probably be the last.
