Lucas quoted us R 1 830.00 for replacing 4 switches, thermostat, door seal, globe & labour on the 24th October. Lucas came out for repairs. The oven starts tripping the electricity. Tried to call him on the 30th again, did not answer phone. Phoned the office, they will get Lucas to call us. Phoned Lucas again on the 4th of November, he does not answer. Phoned the office again, they will follow up and get him to contact us. Lucas phoned on the 4th of November, say he will come out tomorrow. He came out on the 5th of November to disconnect the 1 plate and advise us to replace the plate as the plate is causing the oven to trip the electricity. My husband told him a plate can not cause the oven to trip the electricity. When we wanted to use the stove, nothing worked. Phoned Lucas again, he will come out. Once again told us that the plate is causing the fault but he disconnected the plate and the other 3 plates and oven will work. I tried to use the oven on the 6th of November and again it is tripping the electricity. Phoned Lucas, did not answer but send a sms that the plate will cost us R 530.00. Phoned the office to tell them problem is not fixed and requested refund
