I am an avid Samsung product user.(Fridge, TV's, Aircon, Washing) I think they create fantastic products and I understand that sometimes they can malfunction and need repair. My gripe with the lack of service and results that come with their customer service division, which in turn outsources their repairs to who knows where. They need to understand that this is where brand loyalty is enhanced or destroyed. My washing machine began leaking after a year of purchase so within the warranty period. I contacted customer services on Monday, eventually got a repairman out on Thursday, (I live in the central Johannesburg area). The machine needs a part and I am still waiting for someone to phone me regarding when they expect to receive the part and to do the repair? Maybe next time I will think twice on buying a Samsung product as I don't have the confidence in the after sales service. I am sure this is not the reaction from consumers that the Samsung Corporation strives to elicit when trying to sell there products. I am very disappointed at this level of service from a brand I truly trusted.
