Dear Sir/Madam,
It is 3.5 months since I put this order with you. I have enquired a number of times about an estimate delivery time. While I agree it is complicated when ordering from overseas, holiday times shutdowns, hurricane disruptions etc. there should be an acceptable limit to delivery delays, especially since the item ordered has been available to preorder, then unavailable, in stock for over a month now, and recently also deliverable to South Africa directly from Amazon in about a week.
I can understand that private (American) customers are treated preferentially, but Amazon surely has certain obligations to you as well.
Hopefully you will understand that electronic equipment gets outdated pretty quickly (following Amazon's policy there will be a new model in a few months) and receiving one after many months becomes quite pointless.
I am trully sorry about the experience I have had with your company- completely different than previous ones. I do not wish to be given another "please be patient and read our terms and conditions" response: please do your best to determine if you can deliver within a week (that is before 5 February 2012), and if not- kindly contact me fo
