Samsung South Africa
Samsung GT-P5100 Galaxy Tab2

On the 10th August 2013 I updated my MTN data contract with a Galaxy Tab2. Not having had one before I left it sealed in my cupboard for about a week until I had time to "play" with it. After using device for about a week, when playing media, it would develop lines on the screen and then switch off. On the weekend of the 24/25th August 2013, I sent the unit to Port Elizabeth for repairs via my finance. I stay in Ugie - 550kms from Port Elizabeth. He handed in the device last week at MTN Walker Drive, Port Elizabeth for attention. This is where I updated my contract. Today I received a call to say that the unit cannot be repaired/replaced under warranty due to water/liquid damage on mother board. I am not satisfied with this explanation as to the best of my knowledge the mother board is internal and the device would have to have been immersed in liquid for the liquid to get onto the motherboard. Would there not therefore be any further evidence of liquid in the device? Can someone at Sumsung please contact me in this regard. Many thanks
