I was at the bank to deposit the money where the teller alerted me that the account belonged to a pvt individual and that it was a savings account in the name of a foreign black man, not a Short Link Electronics account.
I was also told that Capitec does not have any business accounts. So when you are requested by a business to deposit money at Capitec Bank, BEWARE!
But for the record. Any "Online Business" who takes you "Off-line" to pay them, must be viewed with great suspicion.
Digidirect Electronics (Henry Phillip), also from Port Elizabeth has the same modus operandi. Their website is a joke and off-course you cannot place an order online, you are requested to do it via e-mail upon which they then send you their banking detail for eft or cash deposit,
Crazee Stuff! I bet most people are to embarrased at being caught like the previous complainant to ever file a report. I spend the time doing this even if I can help just one person to be the wiser and escape such on line predators and scamsters!
