My elderly neighbour called the Appliance lady to come and repair her Bosch washing machine just recently out of warranty. She paid R250 call out fee and they said they had to take the machine away for repairs. This was the 20th March. To date she still has not received her machine back, either fixed or still faulty. Despite numerous phone calls she has gotten no-where. She is from the Czech republic and was widowed in SA when her husband was shot for his money. She battles to understand English and people battle to understand her. She is very alone as only people who have know her for a long time can understand her very thick accent. She was in tears when she came to me for her help. She is hand washing her clothes in the bath and for an elderly lady this is not easy. The staff at Appliance Lady have now told her she is too cheeky to them so they are not giving her machine back. I have contacted them directly via their cell number and I am awaiting feedback from Chantal. This company should not be allowed to rip off anyone and it seems they target the poor and elderly. I do hope they have the decency to get back to me urgently so we can resolve this problem.
