I am currently trying to apply and register for my studies to become a teacher. When I spoke to one of the staff member early this week, she said I have till the 19th of april to apply for a student number and to register. So as I only had today or tomorrow to go to unisa in pretoria, because it is my first time to do such thing, I have no idea of how things work regarding application and registration. So got to unisa about 2hours ago and they are striking, blocking the entrance and road to unisa. Went to ask the police officer if there is any way I can get in to do my registration, I have allready applied and have a student/ refrence number, the responce was, I can only try to come arround on monday, because all the campisses look the same with the sallary strike going on. Unisa will be keep in mind that there was a strike. So here I am stressing, because last year the sam happened and I could not do my studies, now the same thing happens for a 2nd time to me. But that's not all, I phoned numeres times to the info desk at this unisa and after about 15 times of redialing I got an answer, a lady said I can only register in june! Now I wasted money and time! Help me please???
