I recently became very ill just after I registered for the first semester. I e-mailed the letter from my doctor to unisa about 10 times befor I got any response from them. Their service is really horrible when it comes to support. They eventually contacted me stating that I cannot change my first semester subjects to second semester subjects. I must complete all the assignments and after gaining admission to the examination then only can I request that my examination dates be moved?! Or I must cancell the units and re-apply and forfeight all my money. Can these people not understand that I am unable to complete my assignments because I am ill! I just asked for an exension but they are obviusly unwilling to help. Looks like Unisa is turning into just another money making scheme. Isn' t a university supposed to care about their students wellfare you are afterall making alot of money from us?!
